Lorraine has a management background having already had two successful business' , with a varied career history .....
Born in Warrington , now living in Wirral .
Lorraine went to UptonHallConventSchool completing her education at Wirral Met College . In her twenties she worked in The South of France as a Mini club rep ,most of the time in fancy dress with the children and was puss-in-boots in the panto and the front end of the camel on stage twice a week ! Not for the faint hearted!
She then returned to live in Manchester where she qualified as a Registered General Nurse (RGN) having Nursing Posts in Manchester, The Wirral and Rodney Street ..
Lorraine had a break from nursing and gained her secretarial qualifications and worked at the Liverpool Echo & for Wirral Action. She then successfully Managed her own shop in Ellesmere Port for 3 years before returning back to Nursing . Latterly, until 2005 she owned and managed a Nursing Home (for 15 years ) in Liverpool , where as well as the day to day running of the business & caring for the residents she organised & assessed the NVQ level 2 direct care training for the staff and in-house training .
Lorraine now designs interiors in the property business she has with her husband as well as being at the helm of beadybeady
During all this time Lorraine has made jewellery and enjoyed fundraising .
In 2006 she decided to set up beadybeady and to date this is the best decision as she loves it !.
Lorraine also makes Jewellery for Eye Candy in Quiggins and for the Ulchedre Theatre in Holyhead and sells pre-made jewellery at the fairs and events and soon in her on-line shop
